2019 Choosing Wisely Canada National Meeting

Join us May 27, 2019 in Montreal, Quebec for our 2019 Choosing Wisely Canada National Meeting: Taking Action, in partnership with the Canadian Medical Association. This year’s National Meeting is co-hosted with the Quebec Medical Association.

Our annual National Meeting is an opportunity for clinicians, patients and system leaders to come together to discuss, engage, and network on topics related to reducing unnecessary tests and treatments.

Accreditation

The Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec (FMOQ) recognizes 6 hours of Category 1 credits for participants in this activity. The FMOQ is accredited by the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ) to provide continuing medical training. Conference participants may benefit from resourcing options and an allowance from the professional development fund.

The Université de Montréal medical school’s office for continuing professional development (Direction du développement professionnel continu; DPC), which is fully accredited by the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC) and by the CMQ, recognizes 6 hours of Category 1 credits for participants in this activity. This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Université de Montréal’s DPC for a maximum of hours. This program provides confirmation of participation for a maximum of 6 hours to all other participating professionals, who must submit a claim for the appropriate number of hours to their respective professional bodies.
