‘Tis the season!  Join us Thursday November 1^st from 12pm-1pm ET to hear how the Using Antibiotics Wisely campaign has progressed since last year’s Antibiotic Awareness Week. Our Working Group consisting of family physicians, nurse practitioners nurses, pharmacists, program managers and patients across all provinces in Canada has articulated specific prescribing practice changes and curated evidence-based resources to help the Choosing Wisely community better manage respiratory infections in primary care. Participants can look forward to Dr. Guylene Theriault, Choosing Wisely Canada Primary Care Co-Lead, to speak about the practice changes and demonstrate how selected clinical tools have matched to each syndrome to help front line clinicians choose wisely when it comes to antibiotic prescriptions for Upper Respiratory Infections.
