Choosing Wisely Talks | Facilitating the Spread of Healthcare Improvement : Experience from the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement (CFHI) & Provincial Partner Organizations

7 Feb 2019

12:00pm EST - 1:00pm EST

CFHI is working closely with organizations and provinces in Canada to improve patient care through quality improvement, taking us from ‘the land of pilot projects’ to the land of spread and scale. For February’s Choosing Wisely Talks we will be joined by CFHI to learn how they support healthcare organizations adapt, implement, spread and measure improvements. Using CFHI’s Appropriate Use of Antipsychotics (AUA) collaborative and the Optimizing Practices Use, Care and Services – Antipsychotics (OPUS-AP) collaborative as examples, we’ll hear firsthand from organizations in New Brunswick and Quebec that have partnered with CFHI to reduce the inappropriate use of antipsychotics in long-term care homes.

Please note that this webinar will be simultaneously translated and offered in French. Further details are available on the French page for this webinar, found here: choisiravecsoin.org/evenement/2019fevriertalk/.
