Choosing Wisely Canada is committed to changing the culture of medicine from the bottom up. The campaign has partnered with medical students to help achieve this aim. Across all 17 of Canada’s undergraduate medical schools, students have led local change efforts to embed Choosing Wisely into their training through the STARS campaign. STARS (Students and Trainees Advocating for Resource Stewardship) is profiled in the December 2017 issue of The Medical Post, and features interviews with students from across the country and medical educators.
