Calling family physicians in the first five years of practice interested in medical writing, academic medicine and resource stewardship!

Choosing Wisely Canada and Canadian Family Physician journal are seeking a first five years of practice family physician to lead the Choosing Wisely series in the journal. In this role, you will be the lead author on a quarterly series of profiles of family physicians leading Choosing Wisely in family practice.

In collaboration with the Choosing Wisely Canada primary care lead, you will interview family physicians and then draft a profile based on the interview to be published in the ‘Practice’ section of Canadian Family Physician journal. This is a two-year commitment and you will be responsible for co-authoring a total of 8-12 articles. Bilingual applicants preferred given the series national scope. This is a paid position, with a stipend to be paid quarterly. Expressions of interest in the Choosing Wisely Canada CFP role will be accepted until June 1, 2020.
