Choosing Wisely Quebec is led by the Quebec College of Family Physicians (CQMF). CQMF coordinates provincial efforts to implement the campaign’s recommendations in collaboration with an interprofessional and interdisciplinary steering committee.

The current areas of focus for Choosing Wisely Quebec include:

• Provide and promote evidence-based tools and strategies aimed at reducing unnecessary tests and treatments in health care.
• Promote discussions between health care professionals and their patients about the appropriate use of tests and treatments.
• Support implementation efforts aimed at improving the quality of care.
• Mobilize decision-makers, partners, and the public on reducing unnecessary tests and treatments.
