Join Choosing Wisely Talks on March 11 at 12 p.m. ET for a discussion on the pharmacist’s role in reducing unnecessary and potentially harmful medication use. Speakers will explore the critical role of community pharmacists in translating Choosing Wisely principles into practice, with practical examples of how pharmacists can identify deprescribing opportunities and improve medication appropriateness in everyday care.
This session will also introduce the new STARS (Students and Trainees Advocating for Resource Stewardship) program for pharmacy students and highlight how student leaders are advancing resource stewardship within their schools.
