On March 30, 2016 Choosing Wisely Canada held its Inaugural National Meeting at the Bram & Bluma Appel Salon in the Toronto Reference Library.

In attendance were almost 300 representatives from all campaign stakeholders across Canada including leaders from national organizations (CMA, CFHI, CADTH, RCPSC, CFPC, etc.) and provincial representation (almost every province, including Yukon and the North West Territories), Clinical Leaders, Early Adopters (those implementing campaign recommendations), physician specialty societies, measurement groups, medical students, residents and patient representatives.
