Nurses and Nurse Practitioners play a crucial role in promoting evidence-based and patient-centred care. To build capacity and enhance the visibility of nursing within Choosing Wisely Canada’s initiatives, a new community of practice was launched in the fall of 2024. This national forum brings together nurses and nurse practitioners engaged or interested in Choosing Wisely initiatives, providing a platform to discuss recommendations, share implementation success stories and challenges, and identify collaboration opportunities with nursing professionals across the country.
