The Canadian Medical Association (CMA) helps fund and support Choosing Wisely STARS. They have generously set aside funds to support STARS student interest group related activities and events. This can include funding for food, room rental costs, raffle prizes for students, and thank you gifts for speakers. Each can receive up to $500 per year for such expenses.

Please note funds are provided on a reimbursement basis, and are handled administratively via Choosing Wisely Canada/Unity Health Toronto.
