This certificate program is a self-directed learning opportunity for health profession students across Canada to deepen their understanding of resource stewardship and Choosing Wisely principles.

Endorsed by Choosing Wisely Nova Scotia, the program includes interactive, live sessions with expert speakers and is also accessible asynchronously through recordings for those unable to attend.

The program will involve a series of four live webinar sessions with invited speakers to share knowledge of resource stewardship principles in practice. These sessions will be recorded, and made available for asynchronous viewing.

How to earn your certificate:

  • Attend or view recordings of all four sessions.
    • Of the four sessions, at least two must be attended live on Microsoft Teams.
    • Complete a short quiz after each session to confirm attendance and engagement.
  • If watching a recording, complete the brief reflection included in the quiz.

Sign up before the first live session on November 4 to participate in the program for 2025.

Live sessions will be hosted on Microsoft Teams throughout November. Please note all times are listed in AST.
