Join McGill University Choosing Wisely STARS student leaders for an upcoming talk featuring Dr. Martin Makary, New York Times bestselling author and Chief of Islet Transplant Surgery at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Makary, a distinguished health policy researcher, will explore medicine’s blind spots, tackling topics such as major medical reversals, health care waste, and enhancing access to health care.

Drawing from his upcoming book, “Blind Spots,” Dr. Makary will explore the grassroots movement to reform health care, rebuild public trust, and address the escalating costs of health care. Stay for a Q&A session with Dr. Makary, moderated by the STARS students team.
